Sbírka č.64: Jaroslav Chlebeček

Collection number

A trained button maker, Jaroslav Chlebeček (1900–1986) devoted himself to beekeeping and photography for a long time, recording life in his native Skalica near Znojmo. The most intense period of his poetic work is preserved on glass plates and in family albums from the 1920s and 1930s. He himself often became the central motif of carefully, yet authentically, composed shots. The processing and publication of the archive was made possible by the kindness of the author's granddaughter.
